The Society journal ‘Maple Leaves’ was first issued in 1946 and over 370 editions have been published since then. This archive contains all back issues from the first, in 1946, to the end of 2018. The issues can be accessed as downloadable pdf files by following the links on this page. Just click on the appropriate volume to find the specific issue of interest.

As an alternative users can download complete volumes of the journal as a single file. Again just click on the link to the Volume of interest. Be warned, however, that some of these complete volume files are very large so if you have slow (or no) broadband be prepared for a wait!

A cumulative index which covers all of these issues of Maple Leaves from 1946 to the end of 2006 can be purchased from our Handbooks Manager as a CD to upload to your computer (the spiral bound hard copy version is sold out). The index can also now be accessed online here. The introduction to the index explaining how to use it can be found here.

An additional index covering all of the issues from 2007 to the end of 2023 is currently in preparation and will appear here when completed.

Members can also make use of an 'on line' searchable index to be found on the BNAPS website. This covers all issues of Maple Leaves, BNAPS Topics and the Journal of the Postal History Society of Canada and allows you to search by topic or keyword for articles of interest. This resource has been created by our member and fellow Charles Livermore and the tool can be found at the BNAPS website https://bnaps.org

The most recent issues of 'Maple Leaves' from 2019 onward are not available online. The Editor does hold some back copies of recent issues for sale if new members wish to acquire them, alternatively members can contact the Editor for electronic copies of these recent issues if they are missing any. Issues from the year 2019 will be uploaded to this site at the end of 2024.
